General Terms and Conditions of Vitavie
Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all current and future deliveries, transactions and services of Vitavie. Even if on repeated contact these terms are not referred to again, they remain in full force. Copying or using data from Vitavie is only permitted with prior written consent. Competent court is located in Almelo.
Ordering
Orders can only be placed through our website: www.vitavie.nl. After successfully completing the ordering process, you will receive an email confirmation of your order.
Payment
Vitavie distinguishes between customers with a Dutch or foreign bank account.
Dutch customers
For orders within the Netherlands, we offer two payment methods through our payment partner Mollie:
iDeal: you will be redirected to your bank for direct payment.
- Credit card payment: you will be redirected to credit card payment.
Manual transfer: you will receive our bank details to transfer the amount yourself. Always include your order number.
With iDeal, we can process your order immediately. Dutch orders placed on weekdays before 4 p.m. are usually delivered the next day. With bank transfers, shipping usually takes place as soon as payment is received.
Foreign customers
For orders outside the Netherlands, we use several payment methods. You will be directed to our international bank details via Mollie. After receiving your payment your order will be shipped. There are no extra costs involved.
Delivery
Once payment is received, your order will be processed, after which delivery will take place.
PostNL offers the package a maximum of two times. If absent, it can be delivered to neighbors or taken to a post office. There it remains available for a maximum of 2 weeks. If the package is not picked up, it will be returned to Vitavie.
Vitavie is not liable for damage or loss during shipment, unless there is gross negligence. If a delivery is unexpectedly delayed, we will contact you.
Returns due to incorrect address information or refusal by the addressee are at the customer’s expense. If the error is on our side, we will bear the costs.
Shipping costs
Netherlands: € 4.95 per shipment. Free for orders from € 60.
Belgium: €9.50 per shipment.
Other countries: the webshop automatically shows the cost at checkout.
Discounts
Discount codes are issued exclusively by Vitavie and have limited validity. They are not redeemable for cash and are only applicable to specific products as mentioned in the promotion. Forgotten discount codes cannot be subsequently redeemed.
For some products, quantity discounts are applied when purchasing multiple units. If a different discount applies, the quantity discount is void.
Complaints Procedure
We have a clear complaints procedure. Complaints about our services must be reported to us within 7 days of discovery, fully and clearly described. Complaints will be answered within 14 days. If more time is needed, you will receive a message with further explanation within this period.
If the complaint cannot be solved in consultation, you can turn to Stichting WebwinkelKeur (if affiliated). They mediate free of charge. If mediation fails, you can go to the dispute committee of WebwinkelKeur. The verdict is binding. Costs are borne by the consumer. You can also report a complaint via the ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
A complaint does not suspend your payment obligation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If the complaint is found to be justified, we will replace or repair the product free of charge.
Returns
You have the right to return a product within 14 days of receipt. Please email info@vitavie.nl in advance . Returns will only be accepted if the packaging is undamaged and, if present, the seal has not been broken.
Vitavie will reimburse the return costs. Unstamped or cash on delivery shipments will not be accepted. After receipt and verification, the amount will be refunded within 14 days.
Privacy
We treat personal data confidentially and do not share it with third parties. Your data will be used exclusively for shipping and information about promotions or products from Vitavie. Do you no longer wish to receive e-mails? Simply indicate this in writing – we will delete your data immediately.
