'Oil Pulling' is an old traditional remedy from Indian Ayurvedic medicine. The oil is spread through the mouth with a swishing and pulling motion for 10 to 20 minutes. According to the old doctrine it expels toxins and naturally whitens the teeth. Georganics mouthwash is a formula with coconut oil and antibacterial essential oils *. | Mouthwash for 'Oil Pulling' Unless otherwise recommended: Shake the bottle before use. Take 1 to 1.5 tablespoon (15-20 ml) mouthwash in the mouth. Move the mix for 10 to 20 minutes by pulling, slurping and pushing through the mouth, past the teeth and gums. The bacteria on the teeth, between the teeth and (under) the gums are attracted and bound to the oil. The longer this process of pushing and pulling the oil is sustained, the more bacteria can attach to the oil. The oil pulling process is complete when the oil has turned into a white, milky substance after 10 to 20 minutes. DO NOT swallow the oil, but spit it out. Remineralizing toothpaste Unless otherwise recommended: Using the spatula supplied, apply toothpaste, the size of a pea, to the toothbrush. Brush your teeth as usual for 2-3 minutes. Let the toothpaste sit longer for better mineralization. Ensure that no water enters the jar of toothpaste to prevent the growth of bacteria. When opened, store in a dry and warm place (can be stored for a maximum of 12 months after opening). |
